This is Char on her bike the summer that my Mom died. I loved to bike and roller skate.
My life calling was to be a Lutheran Church Secretary. I worked at Redeemer and Memorial Lutheran Churches in Toledo, Ohio.

This is the hardheaded young man who ran away from home at age 14. Ken says he tried to be so "tough" yet was really scared to death inside.

Ken and his dog.
The Hulsey clan caught fish for supper like a MAN... And Mama fried them in a PAN. What a meal!
Ken's Mom is taking a break her on the porch. She loved to cook, sew, and raise kids.
Ken's parents, James and Dorothy Hulsey along with his sister, Teresa, made the long drive from Tennessee to visit Ken. In the 19 years Ken was in Prison this was the only time his Dad came to see him as he couldn't handle seeing Ken under the circumstances.
Ken found comfort in Prison by playing his guitar and sharing music with other inmates. Ken wrote a few songs while in Prison, nothing he would want to have published.

Ken and I in the Prison Visiting room. This was taken months and months after I would even allow him to set next to me. We truly couldn't stand one another at first.
All of my six children. It's hard getting them all together at one time. Tim, Darcy, Julie, Jennifer, Kristin and Molli Jo.

This is our family Wedding picture. Jack's parents attended our wedding and my ex-father-in-law gave me away. Something that was an honor to me for Pa to have done this. All the children were there except Molli Jo who was stationed in Germany at the time.
